This tutorial is an attempt to make freezing easy for souls like me and you who happen to be reading this post. It calls for nothing fancy but if you count the zip lock pouches, then yes, you may have to make an extra trip down to the market. But other than that, its pretty much straight forward and will definitely tide you over, should the strawberry craving strike at an inconvenient time. These berries work well in smoothies, baked goodies and the likes. They thaw super quick and keep well for about 3 months in the freezer. I know this from a friend who froze her berries last year. On another note, the freezing technique mentioned here will work well for all kinds of berries. So, lets gear up and do some freezing, shall we?

What a great idea – i'm one of those people that always buys a heap of fruit but by the time i get around to actually eating it.. it's over-ripe! So this strawberry freezing technique is ideal.
